All of this has been, I think, essential in terms of sort of a forward-leaning strategy that's going to keep America safer than if we were to retreat behind our oceans, go back to sort of the pre-9/11 mind set, where we treated terrorism as a law enforcement problem. John Kerry the other day was quoted in The New York Times, he did an interview a couple Sundays ago, as saying that his objective for managing the war on terror was to get terror back to the point where it was just a nuisance. And then he compared it to illegal gambling and prostitution, that there's some sort of manageable level of terrorism out there that you can accept.
And when he said that, I asked myself, I said, well, when was terrorism ever just a nuisance? Was it four years ago when they attacked the USS Cole, nearly sunk it and killed 17 of our sailors off Yemen? Or six years ago when they simultaneously attacked two of our embassies in East Africa and killed hundreds of people, including a number of Americans? Or maybe it was 11 years ago when the first attack occurred on the World Trade Center in New York when they tried to take it down with a truck bomb in the basement? Or 1988 when they blew Pan Am 103 out of the skies over Lockerbie, Scotland? Or maybe 1983, when a suicide bomber driving a truckload of explosives drove into the ground floor of a building in Beirut, brought it down and killed 241 Marines?

Bush: I have never said we can win it in four years.
Q: No, I'm just saying, can we win it? Do you see that?
Bush: I don't--I don't think you can win it, but I think you can create conditions so that the--those who use terror as a tool are less acceptable in parts of the world, let's put it that way.

Student Told To Give Back Bush Tickets

Campaign worker noticed Kerry sticker on car A Council Bluffs high school student who wanted to see President Bush is upset that she had to return her tickets after a Republican staffer saw Democratic bumper stickers on the car she was driving.

Seventeen-year-old Allison Plummer, a senior at Abraham Lincoln High School, said she was driving her parents' car which has a John Kerry bumper sticker on it. She said her parents are Democrats, but she hasn't yet registered with any party.

Plummer waited in line for four hours last Thursday to get the tickets for Bush's Monday appearance at the Mid-America Center. After she got to her car, a staff worker stopped her and demanded the tickets back. Plummer said she just wanted to see the president and hear his point of view on the issues.

Another Abraham Lincoln student, Allison Brown, said she couldn't even get a ticket after she told workers she was still undecided. She said they told her that the Bush campaign isn't allowing undecided voters to hear him.

Switching Gears

Before the war in Iraq started, the president and all of his cronies stated and show evidence of facilities that were used to store and produce weapons of mass destruction. The satellite photos showed these facilities and information from said reliable sources confirmed that theses were in fact storage and production facilities.

My question is why then were none of the places proven to have any of the said weapons on the premises? If we (US) have the tech to see and track movement, why did it not show the movement of the so called weapons? Why did we not know the exact location of these weapons? Was the information real or imagined (oops.. I mean manufactured)?

I say manufactured because, there were no weapons of mass destruction found, and it’s not like we did not have people that would sell information as to the whereabouts of these weapons. Since people sold out Sadom. He was just one person and harder to find then a pebble at a beach. (Btw…so is Bin Laden apparently).

Have you noticed that no mention of the evidence has been mentioned in the campaign, by the current administration?

Switching gears… there are a few people in the administration that will not be in the same position if George W. steals this election. I just want to mention one person. Mr. Powell. The story will be that he resigned for personnel reasons. But I could be wrong and his ouster may have already been announced. You can not as a member of this administration have a different point of view or how things are run in this administration. If you do you will be discredited and black balled. There are at least 3 examples of former me member of this administration.

Switch again… Why is it that pictures of flag draped coffins are not to be made public? Does it have anything to do with the forward thinking campaign managers, not wanting to put the fact that young men and women are dying for a cause that was a concoction of a demented mind set loose.

Switch... when in I was growing up there was and is a saying …”a hard head makes a soft behind.” We in America use to go by the other saying "Walk softly and carry a big stick", said Teddy Roosevelt. I did a little research. What I found was simple. Talk and try to make change but if talk does not work beat the hell outta them. But only as a last resort. Not the first option. We can not afford to commit our troops to a conflict because of lack of patience. “If” “Would”, and “Could” are words that put us in the position that we are in now. Unless we are able to see into the future, which George W. (not in those words) has insinuated. Then we would have known where to find Bin Laden and Saddam. We would have known where the weapons were. We would have known how to stop the insurgents, that want to stop the new government of Iraq.
IF we know so much then WHY have so many of our children died. Are they defending our country? Or fighting a war of revenge by Jr.?

UNIFINISHED THOUGHT #3

I’m I the only one that finds this sh*t down right stupid and prejudice.

Bush’s people only want the brainwash, blind, and the gullible to show up at his or Chaney’s rallies. People that want to hear what they have to say are forced to sign a pledge in order to receive tickets to hear them speak. (just to make it plain for those who may have misread the above.)

“Shi said the GOP campaign plans to correct errors and omissions in the pledge: "I ... herby (sic) endorse George W. Bush for reelection of the United States." Besides correcting the spelling of hereby, it will make clear what office Bush is running for, Shi said. “

Another example for more education in this country. No child left behind (ha, ha, ha, what about the adults?

As stated in the title this is an unfinished thought. Think about it and tell me why this should be right. Why can't any American go see the President of the United States, without having to be a republican? If I am undecided, I should be able to hear what he has to say in person, even if I am not a republican.

TIRED OF POLITICS? Let’s change the channel

Ok since I am the self proclaimed Thought Initiator, I thought it would be okay to talk about something that is foremost in the minds of the American public.

Maury …Yeah I said Maury and the sweet ladies that have come on his show to “find the daddy of their 1, 2, 3, or more babies.

Here is a scenario… here is Lizzy. Lizzy has a 4 year old little girl. Lizzy had a sex with Joe about 5 years ago and has always claimed that Joe is the father of this little girl. But, Joe says that he is not the father, because Lizzy was a “Ho, a Slut, and a Nasty Tramp and a Bit*h”. She is just like a door knob…everyone got a turn. A growing “Ooooooh!!!!!” Comes for the crowd. I cain’t wait to prove that ain’t my baby so that this….. will leave me the …. Alone!!!

Oh, oh I forgot to tell you… Lizzy has been on the show before. Once as a teen out of control (hint, hint).

Now, I am not on the side of Lizzy or Joe for the reasons to follow…. Let’s start with Joe. Joe gets a call from the producers of the Maury show inviting him to New York to be on the show. Joe (if he works) takes time off, (if he doesn’t work) it as a free vacation and away he goes. Lets assume that both Lizzy and Joe or at least 21 or older. If he knows that this trip means going on national television to tell the world that he is not the father of Lizzy’s baby, he may feel that this is his chance to get her off is back and away from the cloud of the dreaded “Child Support”. If he is the baby’s daddy then he claims (I’ll take care of my responsibility and be in the child’s life). Note: not my child’s life. All of which is based on the fact that he is on TV and Now he doesn’t want to look like Booboo the Fool. (Oops…TOO LATE!!!) There is more but you know the story. You can comment as you see fit.

As for Ms. Thang… lets see now, I am no expert (Duh!) like you need to be told that, but since the fertile time for a woman is…what maybe 3 – 7 days, plus or minus 2. (Another example of my expertise). Well back to the subject. Lizzy must have an Open 24 hours sign on her forehead that flashed bright red “Now Serving #???” Now she comes on the show because she is sure the Joe it the father. Maybe all she wants is for Joe to pay the dreaded “Child Support” but she will say “I do everything for my baby”, “I am my baby’s Mother and Father, and I don’t need nothin' from him.” “I just want him to be in my baby’s life.” I could go on, and on with the comments that will pour out of her mouth.

So, Maury sits them both down and ask question that are just fillers until he get to the point that they have just made the biggest AZZ out of themselves. Then comes the moment of truth. “Joe you areeeee….. I really like the next part …Not the father. The crowd goes wild and Ms. “I know he’s ma babbies daddy” gets up and runs off stage crying like she just lost her mother.

She’s falling down on her knees with “oh my god, oh my god” slobbering and blowin’ snot everywhere. In the meantime Joe is doing jumpin’ jacks all over the stage saying “see I told you bit*h, you a Ho. Stay away from me. Ha ha ha. Again you know the rest of his story. Then Maury tries to comfort her telling her that they (the show) will help her find the father of her little girl. So stay tune for the next 4 appearances of Lizzy and the next 16 men she had sex with during the fertile period she had just under 5 years ago, when she was a Ho. If I had had time to have that much sex in a week, I should have a whole lot of money, an empty carton of Trojans and a rubber playmate or an empty bottle of Viagra and a rubber playmate, like Bud on Married with Children.

Ok, end of story. It may have run on a little bit but you have an idea what I was thinking.
